INGREDIENTS:
- 350 grams Fettuccine
- 500 grams Shrimps, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp Light Olive Oil
- ¼ cup Unsalted Butter
- 2 tsp Garlic, chopped finely
- 2 tsp Red Onion, chopped finely
- 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
- ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp Parsley, chopped finely
- Pinch of Paprika
- Salt & Pepper, to taste
PROCEDURE:
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Once cooked, set it aside.
- In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Melt the butter and then sauté the garlic and onions.
- Add the deveined shrimps. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the cream and simmer until thickened.
- Add the cooked pasta and pour the parmesan cheese. Season it with salt and pepper.
- Mix until everything is well incorporated.
- To add some spice and flavor, sprinkle some smoked paprika and parsley.
- Transfer it to a serving plate. Sprinkle some Parmesan cheese and parsley on top. Serve while hot.
