Christmas Tree Brownies

Christmas Tree Brownies

These festive Christmas Tree Brownies are a fun and delicious holiday treat that kids will love making and decorating. Easy, family-friendly, and full of Christmas cheer, they’re perfect for getting little bakers involved in the kitchen!

INGREDIENTS:

Classic Brownies

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • ½ cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips, melted
  • 4 medium eggs
  • 2 cups Caster Sugar
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • ½ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract

Sugar Frosting

  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Whole Milk
  • ½ tsp Gel Food Coloring (Green)
  • ½ tsp Vanilla Extract

Decorations

  • Candy Canes
  • Candy Sprinkles

PROCEDURE:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Line the baking pan with parchment paper. Set it aside.
  3. Start mixing the ingredients for brownies.  In a mixing bowl, put the unsalted melted butter and melted chocolate. Mix until well combined. Add the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well and set it aside.
  4. In another mixing bowl, combine the flour and cocoa powder. Whisk until well blended.
  5. Fold the flour and cocoa powder gently into the wet ingredients. Don’t overmix it.
  6. Transfer the brownie mixture to the prepared pan. Level the brownies using a spatula.
  7. Bake for 27-30 minutes. Once baked, cool it down.
  8. Chill it in the fridge for 1 hour.
  9. After an hour, remove the brownies from the pan. Slice it in the middle and cut it into a triangular shape. Set it aside.
  10. Use a candy cane as a Christmas tree stand. Cut the curved part and insert it at the bottom part.
  11. Make the sugar frosting. In a mixing bowl, add the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and the food coloring. Whisk everything until smooth.
  12. Pour some icing into a piping bag and start decorating the Christmas tree brownies. Sprinkle some candy sprinkles on top.
  13. Transfer to a serving plate and serve it to your loved ones during the Holiday Season.
