These festive Christmas Tree Brownies are a fun and delicious holiday treat that kids will love making and decorating. Easy, family-friendly, and full of Christmas cheer, they’re perfect for getting little bakers involved in the kitchen!
INGREDIENTS:
Classic Brownies
- 1 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- ½ cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips, melted
- 4 medium eggs
- 2 cups Caster Sugar
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- ½ cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
Sugar Frosting
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 tbsp Whole Milk
- ½ tsp Gel Food Coloring (Green)
- ½ tsp Vanilla Extract
Decorations
- Candy Canes
- Candy Sprinkles
PROCEDURE:
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
- Line the baking pan with parchment paper. Set it aside.
- Start mixing the ingredients for brownies. In a mixing bowl, put the unsalted melted butter and melted chocolate. Mix until well combined. Add the eggs, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well and set it aside.
- In another mixing bowl, combine the flour and cocoa powder. Whisk until well blended.
- Fold the flour and cocoa powder gently into the wet ingredients. Don’t overmix it.
- Transfer the brownie mixture to the prepared pan. Level the brownies using a spatula.
- Bake for 27-30 minutes. Once baked, cool it down.
- Chill it in the fridge for 1 hour.
- After an hour, remove the brownies from the pan. Slice it in the middle and cut it into a triangular shape. Set it aside.
- Use a candy cane as a Christmas tree stand. Cut the curved part and insert it at the bottom part.
- Make the sugar frosting. In a mixing bowl, add the powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and the food coloring. Whisk everything until smooth.
- Pour some icing into a piping bag and start decorating the Christmas tree brownies. Sprinkle some candy sprinkles on top.
- Transfer to a serving plate and serve it to your loved ones during the Holiday Season.
