Strawberry and banana smoothie has always been a favorite of many. People, over the past years have been tweaking the recipe to make it even more nutritious. They use healthier alternatives for icecream such as low-fat milk and yogurt. With this Strawberry-Banana Yogurt Smoothie, I used raw honey instead of suger and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s rich in flavors and yet light to the taste (and the tummy) at the same time. It’s so tasty you’ll feel zero guilt having more than one glass.

Ingredients
- 2 large Bananas cut into big chunks
- 1 cup Fresh or Frozen Strawberries rinsed and cut into halves
- 1 cup Greek Yoghurt frozen
- 1/2 cup Fresh Milk
- 3 tbsps Honey
Instructions
- Slice the frozen yoghurt into big chunks.
- In a blender, combine frozen yogurt, bananas, strawberries, milk, and honey and blend until smooth and frothy.
Notes
- If you will have this for breakfast, do not freeze the yogurt, just chill it in the fridge. Some people do not take cold drinks too well in the morning.
- If you will have it as a snack, freeze the yogurt for 3-4 hours or overnight. Using frozen yogurt keeps the smoothie thicker and icy-cold!
