With this Strawberry-Banana Yogurt Smoothie, I used raw honey instead of suger and I was pleasantly surprised. It’s rich in flavors and yet light to the taste (and the tummy) at the same time. It’s so tasty you’ll feel zero guilt having more than one glass.
1cupFresh or Frozen Strawberriesrinsed and cut into halves
1cupGreek Yoghurtfrozen
1/2cupFresh Milk
3tbspsHoney
Instructions
Slice the frozen yoghurt into big chunks.
In a blender, combine frozen yogurt, bananas, strawberries, milk, and honey and blend until smooth and frothy.
Notes
If you will have this for breakfast, do not freeze the yogurt, just chill it in the fridge. Some people do not take cold drinks too well in the morning.
If you will have it as a snack, freeze the yogurt for 3-4 hours or overnight. Using frozen yogurt keeps the smoothie thicker and icy-cold!
