Chorizo, Tomato & Basil Pasta

Quick and scrumptious pasta recipe that you can prepare for any gatherings. It has a perfect blend of salty and sweetness flavor in every bite. Use only Spanish chorizo for wonderful flavor!

  • Serves 4 people
  • Prep Time: 15 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • 250 grams Spaghetti
  • 1/4 cup Light Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Garlic, chopped finely
  • 250 grams Spanish Chorizo, cut into small dice
  • 6 pieces Plum Tomatoes, deseeded and cut into strips
  • 100 grams Fresh Basil Leaves, chopped coarsely
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

Procedure

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain, toss in olive oil and set aside.
  2. Heat the light olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat and sauté the garlic for 1 minute.
  3. Add the chorizo and fry for 3 minutes. Put the tomatoes and continue stirring until they are softened.
  4. Add the cooked pasta. Season it with salt and pepper.
  5. Add the fresh basil leaves and mix until everything is well blended and the pasta is well coated in the sauce. Divide into 4 serving plates. Serve while hot.
