Soft, moist, and bursting with sweet banana flavor, this Banana Bread (4 Ways) lets you enjoy four delicious variations in one easy recipe. From classic plain to crunchy walnut, zesty orange, and chocolate chip, there’s a slice to satisfy every craving.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 kilogram of bananas, peeled and overripe
- 700 grams All Purpose Flour
- 1 tsp of Cinnamon Powder
- 1 tsp of Baking Powder
- 2 tsp of Baking Soda
- 400 grams of White Sugar
- 1 ½ cups + 2 tbsp of Vegetable Oil
- 6 pieces Eggs
- 400 ml Whole Milk
- ¼ cup Roasted Walnuts, coarsely chopped
- 2 tsp Zest of Orange
- 3 tbsp Fresh Juice of Orange
- ¼ cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
PROCEDURE:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mash the bananas using a potato masher. Set aside.
- Prepare the dry ingredients. Sift the all-purpose flour, cinnamon powder, baking powder, baking soda, and white sugar. Set aside.
- For the wet ingredients, mix the vegetable oil, eggs, and whole milk. Whisk until well blended.
- Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients gradually in 3 portions until combined.
- Add the mashed banana and fold gently until the batter is thoroughly mixed.
- Divide the banana batter into 4 portions.
- The first batter will be plain banana bread; the second batter will be folded with roasted walnuts.
- The third batter will be folded with orange zest and orange juice. And lastly, the fourth batter will be folded with semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Bake the 4 loaves for 25-30 minutes.
- After baking, cool the loaves. Slice into desired size and serve.
