I first tried this in a restaurant in the states (long time ago) and I absolutely loved it. It created such a wonderful memory that it inspired me to put my own twist on it. Playing with different flavors to create a great dish is what I love to do the most!

Ingredients
- 250 grams Spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons Light Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter
- 500 grams Medium Shrimps peeled and deveined
- 5 cloves Garlic minced
- 3 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- Salt to taste
- Pinch Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot.
- Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of oil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package directions. When the pasta is al dente, drain right away.
- While the pasta is cooking, heat the light olive oil in a large skillet over low-medium heat.
- Add the shrimps and cook until opaque and curled into “c” shape, flipping once.
- Lightly season with salt. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
- Using the same skillet, add the butter and sauté the garlic for one minute and add the lemon juice.
- Remove from the heat, stir in the pasta and shrimps. Toss well to combine.
- Transfer it to a serving dish and drizzle with ground peppercorn.
- Serve with lemon wedges.
